I discovered Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) while recovering from an injury during my professional dance career—and it completely changed the way I understood my body. Now, I use it with nearly every student I work with, because the benefits are undeniable.

PBT is a cross-training method that targets the muscles dancers rely on most—especially the deep core, turnout muscles, and stabilizers that help with balance, alignment, and injury prevention. What I love most is that PBT helps dancers feel proper placement, rather than just seeing it in the mirror. That connection makes a huge difference in class and on stage.

As a certified PBT teacher, I design each session based on your needs and goals. Whether you’re looking to improve your arabesque line, strengthen your ankles for pointe work, or simply build better body awareness, I’ll create a program that supports your technique from the inside out.

These sessions are available privately or in small groups, both in-person and virtually. They’re a fantastic complement to your ballet training—and they’re also really fun!

Most sessions use a yoga mat, stability ball, theraband, and sometimes a small Pilates ball. If you’re doing a virtual session, I’ll guide you on exactly what you need and how to modify exercises based on what you have at home.
