My Episode on Broche Banter – A Conversation from the Heart

I recently had the pleasure of joining Broche Banter (Episode 33) with Ballet for Grownups, where I opened up about my ballet journey—from my training at the School of American Ballet and performing with Los Angeles Ballet, to coaching Mila Kunis for Black Swan. We talked about the moments that shaped me—both on and off stage—including my decision to step away from performing to focus on motherhood. Watching my daughter discover ballet brought me back to the studio with fresh perspective and renewed joy. Teaching adult dancers today has reminded me that ballet is not about perfection—it’s about connection, expression, and personal growth at every stage of life. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share my story and hope it inspires others to keep dancing.

Special thanks to Ballet for Grownups for having me on.
